1 An A-Wing's jamming system is capable of blinding enemy sensors and fire-control. When activated, the jammer causes a negative to the Intelligence checks of adjacent ships of Colossal size or smaller. Space transports -2, starfighters -5.


Fighter Group (Optional) This unit can function as a Fighter Group. The Fighter Group uses the group leader's attack bonus and skill modifiers, but the worst Defenses and damage for each weapon type in the group.

When attacked, the group leader may either designate a Vehicle operated by a generic crew as the target or determine the target randomly.

On the group's turn, the group leader can gain one of the following benefits:

  • Act as a Weapon Battery (+2 on attacks per additional Vehicle, plus the Narrow Salvo and Proximity Spread abilities).
  • Gain a +2 circumstance bonus per additional Vehicle on either opposed Pilot checks made for Dogfighting, Use Computer checks made to Use Sensors, or Perception checks.

Advantaged Unit

Select one of the following advantages:

  • Dedicated Officer (Attack Leader) The Attack Leader coordinates all the Unit's attacks. An Attack Leader can order attacks and use special tactics. A Unit can have only one Attack Leader at a time.
  • Superior Formation This Unit is exceptionally good at minimizing casualties because of its formation. This Unit gains a +2 competence bonus to it's Reflex Defense.
  • Superior Training This Unit is trained to overcome obstacles and deal with unexpected situations. It gains a +5 competence bonus on all Skill Checks.
  • Superior Weapons This Unit is outfitted with special weapons that deal greater damage. This Unit deals +1 die of damage with all attacks made with Weapons.
