He was a successful engineer and amature gambler on Sullust who retired young and opened a small casino in Pinyumb called the Fire Bones. During the Imperial occupation, he protected rebels, including his younger brother, until the Empire discovered his activity and burned the occupied Fire Bones to the ground.
